Haasport Bush Camp

We took a couple days and went to Haasport Bush Camp a couple hours inland of Port Elizabeth with Struan and his family too.  It was so hot those couple days, but we managed to see a few animals, spend a little time in the pool, and have an amazing braai and fire both nights.

We got to spend some time with some animals last week.  We even got to play with a few lion cubs again, they were so cute!!

   

      

Sun and Waves

Yesterday morning we were able to go to Sards, the local beach Bruce always went to.  It was nice, but a little windy.  Later in the afternoon we met his brother and nephew at the boardwalk beach and Ollie loved running in the sand and waves.  He is just so cute!!

Good Morning SA

A great view from the airplane on the way to South Africa. We didn't get much sleep on the planes but did catch up on some movies. I think catching the sunrise was worth it a little.

Looking forward to 2 long flights- at least we have a window seat!

Moving truck

Well we finally packed up everything, drove half way across the US to IL to unload it all into the basement for storage while we travel.
It was so hard to leave Maryland, all our friends, the kids at work, great jobs we will miss you all!
We had a fun road trip over here too and I got to follow a Penske truck all the way to the Midwest.
Now it's time to catch up with all the friends and family back at home in IL before we fly off to South Africa for Christmas on the beach!!
